matte painting sketchy

Matte painting assignment 1 quickie sketches. Had to use a photo with that building and turn it into a painting with a fantasy theme.

I was thinking of doing another kingdom city or an epic castle thing. Just trying to get out different weather/terrain/time-of-day ideas now.

It would be great if you guys could spam me with suggestions and ideas, like - castle on a cliff in stormy weather - or something. Just no birds eye view because my level not high enough to change the photos to fit that perspective.

Thinking of creating a 2D vector iphone game for our portfolio input it will be like maplestory 2D side scroller the game will expand with more maps and monster
Art style will be cute cute one. WE will strart with one town and a monster map and will be done in Flash

I know it looks like crap haha, but I urge you guys to challenge yourself to use your other hand to draw! It's kind of fun hahaha. I discovered that since I hardly use my left hand to do anything, it takes a lot of strength to even do a single brush stroke. And also, I can't sketch with my left hand, so I had to paint in everything instead of doing a sketch first. Well that sort of helps me do the "blocking out" better, I guess. Just try for fun if you guys are bored or whatever. 8D

Just a quick sketch. Random idea for a scryer, kind of looks ninja-y but what the heck. I don't know about your minor project, but I thought this could serve as a scout. Unless you guys already have specific characters in mind. Oh and help me with the pose omg I suck at doing cool poses, this guy looks stiff.
