Not sure if you guys have heard of these applications before, but i'll post here in case you guys need it for avfx.
http://crazybump.com/
Software which generates normal map, bump map, AO, spec from an image. It's easy to use. Some games studios use it. It's only free for 30 days though. There's a beta version for Mac too.

An alternative to crazybump.
Some people prefer to use the nvidia plug in for photoshop though.

A free forum finally!
Hey guys I managed to find a site that could help create a free forum. Reason for the forum, easier viewing and if you need to ask for help at least you can ask through the forum and not through the blog which is more for showcasing our works and WIP.
So here's the link, lollipopstudios.freeforums.org
If you can't find the register link, just go into one of the forums and click on create new topic then you'll be prompted to sign in and you can get to the registration from there. Thanks and see you in the forums.
P.S Of course the forums is but another channel to share our works. But don't forget to share it here on the blog as well.

AVFX WIP
Avfx stuff here. First two pics are concept art for the exterior environment - mostly to show what objects and details needed to model/texture and also to get the overall lighting/colour/mood. Some extra stuff like ruins and other details might want to add in later. There's still 1 more exterior concept which will be for a wide landscape vista.
Third pic is my progress so far - which is slow as hell. It's a maya render of what I have done so far. I'm trying to get out all the assets before importing and duplicating and arranging them in UDK.
