Paint a mountain kingdom or you could paint a victorious scene with a a bunch of soldiers punching into the air (:
if u squint your eyes u can see he have wings like an angel...
lol wow, it really does look a little like angel wings - those white streaks at the bottom.
The fins on the helmet,curly stripe patterns and scales still make me feel like he's a fish/water type character tho.
I think some random holy mountains with eagles flying in the air for the bg would be interesting.
use pen tool and carve out his shape... the character's outlines are merging into the background....
